Moncheri Fashion: Authur Michael Tupu - Bulawayo, Zimbabwe
Moncheri Romance - Fashion & Trend
Summary about self:
Born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe’s Second City, and bred everywhere else. Mid-twenties have seen me excelling in mechanical engineering, photography, entrepreneurship, and literature. It’s a pride and privilege, to get attached to books every day– even the ones that lay untouched, but more so to enjoy the little pleasures of life– just being human, really!
I was nurtured a half Frederick Douglass, and my poignancy is never distanced from the past and present, and everything they both hold. I’m the sun, waiting to dim a little more unapologetically, hiding behind moonshines. The dun I’ll run like a new stag of ten, and the mare like a new roused fawn.
What’s your daily morning routine?
Hesitate, up (I’m not sure I stretch J), wash, examine the scripture, and ready my fuselage. It’s quite a voyage.
Coffee or Tea?
Coffee.
What colour do you usually wear?
Black/blue (can’t choose between)
If you were to choose a style to rock for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A hunting loner.
Less or more?
Less.
Which addiction should I see to this season?
Torn within wine, coffee, and writing.
What are the wrong trousers?
Tight revealing pants.
How do you cope with the daily challenges you face in life?
I try to deal with the anxieties that come from disappointments and the negative sudden turn-up of things one day at a time. It’s always healing to breathe and weigh things through and be advised. Most importantly, the sky overhears everything, and it’s ever ready to help.
What do you want on a date?
To enjoy the beauty of life’s existence with someone carefree. I want to watch myself walk around a woman’s kingdom(e) whose petals have grown from self-transcending society’s ill will into the rose she already is and oh, light is easy to love, show me your darkness.
Tell us a secret about yourself?
I crave teaching, the way a kid craves chocolate or something like that.
What's the top jacket for spring?
Anything light(color and weight).
OK, heels: wedge? platform? flattie?
I wanted to say, ‘what Eve rocked with,’ but I guess it depends.
How big should her bangles be?
I would love to be surprised.
What should I buy right now, today?
A drone.
How do you handle criticism?
I want to fight my ego, every time. It is in NOT giving up that I find peace by the waters, pause, and listen, before inferring. I’ve learnt quickly that people will always have questions for you. What you do not touch, will not burn, and you teach fire that it burns by showing it that it hurts, not by trying to extinguish it. Either it rages more, or it goes, snap, like that, the sound of my fingers, and leaves you cold, longing for warmth.

fence pickets die, crickets cry and the years will change. If she hadn’t died, I’d.
